Looking for a simple and quick dessert?? Here it is! Cut and ice cream sandwich in half and coat all sides in sprinkles! Super easy, super cute and super tasty!!

So, these aren't exactly red, white and blue but they are perfect for a 4th of July bbq dessert table!

Weekend Recap....

Friday - Kevin & I headed down to Shadow Lake for their Sounds of the Summer Concert Series. It's a fun outdoor place to hear local bands play. If you're in the area and are looking for something to do on a Friday night, I highly recommend checking it out - it's perfect for a family friendly night out!

And, just a quick walk away is Freddy's! They have the best frozen custard!!

After the little concert, we rented and finally watched Just Go With It. Oh my gosh, SO funny! I'm a huge Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston fan, I thought these two were perfect together!

Saturday - the morning went by waaayyy too fast! Between meetings and tackling small projects on our to-do list, it was gone before we knew it!

Later that afternoon, I met some friends in Omaha's Old Market. With the CWS going on there was just so much to see! A big point of conversation was how it's such a great time to live in Omaha - we are all just so excited to see Omaha grow!

After walking for a bit, we settled in at Stokes. Stokes has some a-mazing Mexican food...and their margaritas and sangria are out of this world!

Sunday - Well...besides Church, it's been a pretty lazy day. And...now, I think this afternoon thunderstorm is God's way of telling me its time for an afternoon nap! Lol!

Yay, it's Friday!! Which means...the weekend is quickly approaching! Kevin and I have some fun things lined up...shopping for house stuff {it's a never ending endavor}, laying out by the pool {at least for a few hours}, attacking our {never-ending} to-do list, catching up with the family, and meeting up with my friends for a fun Girl's Night Out!

P.S. can you tell "relax" is not a word in my vocabulary when I'm home and things need to get done?

Fabulous Girls Weekend in KC

This weekend my bff, Christina, and I met up in Kansas City. Not only is it one of the Midwest's hidden gems but it's also the perfect half way point for us.

We both arrived Friday and didn't waste any time catching up! The weekend was a nonstop chat fest, yup, it pretty prefect!

Our first stop Saturday morning was the plaza...friends, I *heat* the plaza!!!

Not only does it have fabulous shopping but the architecture is a-mazing!
