Wisdom of the Week

I have the privilege of working for a Christian hospital system. I think it makes a huge difference in patient care, I love having the opportunity of praying with my patients. At the beginning of each week we receive a "Wisdom of the Week" email, this week's was super short but, perfect for me (and my blog) so I thought I'd share - "Taste and see the goodness of the Lord." Psalm 34:8

Great Bible Verse

Kevin loves working out - so, whenever I find an exercise-related inspirational phrase I'm always excited to pass it on. The other day I was having some quiet time and came across this verse:

1 Corinthians 9:24-27 "Do you not know that the runners in a stadium all race, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. Now everyone who competes exercises self-control in everything. However, they don't do it to wear a perishable crown but, an imperishable one. Therefore I don't run like one who runs aimlessly or box like one who beats the air. Instead, I discipline my body and bring it under strict control, so that after preaching to others, I myself will not be disqualified."

What a great verse, huh?!?!
